Well done Reading

Congratulations to Reading for making to the Premiership.  Will make watching more Premiership football locally a reality.  Lets hope its not just a one hit wonder though. :)  I reckon they would be a good team to sponsor next year nudge nudge.

Saturday’s Racing

An up and down day.  In the 1.30 at Wincanton.  I laid the favourite Von Oringy who fell 2 out.   I had backed both Ballez and

Nayodabayo (IRE).   The latter was left clear but fell at the last.

My next involvement for the day was in 1.40 Haydock where with the Heavy ground could not see Arcarlis winning.   I lay at 3.0.  The second winning lay of the day lovely.

The next race that took my interest was the 2.05 at Wincanton.   I backed both Nas na riogh and Magico.  Both were disappoiting.  In this race I laid Black de bessey at 5.0.   This horse then preceeded to get smashed into 11/4.  It was running extremely well through out but this horse is an unlucky horse and found East Lawyer too good.  Nicholls now had 2 from 3 and Ruby Walsh was off the mark for the day.

The next race to take my interest was 2.45 Haydock where I thought Turthen at 7/2 was far too short.  The 4th successful lay of the day for me as it finished last.

My final race that interested me was 3.10 at Wincanton.  I strongly fanced Dante Citzen top rated with Towerform and Brimardon.   With the Nicholls and Walsh combination in full flow.  I backed Almost Broke as a saver at a tasty 13/2.   I was looking to lay Dunbrody Millar in this race but he drifted from 4/1 to 6/1 and at that price I was not interested.   Ruby Walsh managed to stay on Almost broke when he tried to through away the race.   A lovely finish to the day and a nice profit of over £1000.

Roll on Monday.
