What a bumper weekend?

I have really hammered the bookies over the last few days.   There response as usual is to restrict my accounts.  Come on bookies are you always supposed to win?   Give me a chance to take a few more thousand of you before you close me down.   All my systems have been in a great form, which is sods law as I am away on business next week, so may miss a lot of opportunities, which will be disappointing.

On the home front these are very difficult with my fiancé gran seriously ill was back in ADU (acute dependency unit) again last night.  For me I have the challenge of flying again after a 4-month absence I will be trying some drugs my mum, a retired doctor has suggested.   I really do hope either my plan is cancelled or its goes on time as a long delay will only add to my anxiety.

It is a very character-building period of my life with plenty of dilemmas.   I have reached the utopia of my gambling (investing) where my only problem is getting the money on.   I am not worried about anything else, as my systems have more than proved themselves.   I am though looking forward to tuning them even more.

Busy few days

I have been really busy over the last few days and its looks as if this is set to continue.  The biggest loser has been my blog which has not been updated much recently and this is likely to continue for a little while longer.   I have to go away on business to Munich for a week on 31st March which is disappointing with the Aintree festival.  I doubt there will be many updates if any that week.   I will get back to routine after this though.

March continues to be a frustrating month.  On Saturday I had a 13/2 selection come second and a 14/1 selection come second.  Yesterday I had a 12/1 shot come second.   Wilkinson on the horses has a very poor time of it of late with4 losing days out of the last 5.  This usually means a big winning day is due very soon.  I doubt it will be today as bank holiday Monday’s tend to have poor racing which makes getting value harder in my opinion.

Wilkinson football had a good day yesterday which was pleasing and it really is quite and easy now that I have the one click bet and lay.  It has allowed me to expand to all the world football markets.   The bigger my net the more buys and sells I can complete and the more money I will make.

Scalper version 2.0 Live Now

I am proud to announce version 2.0 of my scalper.  It is now really does only take a few seconds to take advantage of either a Wilkinson bet or just a straight matched bet if you prefer.

If you click on the buy or sell odds it will direct you to the exact bet or market to make the whole experience simple quick and profitable.   The racing continues to hit a strike ratio of around 30% for matched bets between 1.8 and 12.0.   The football is maintained around a 44% strike ratio.   Both systems are extremely profitable and you can do them when you have free time.

After six months of using the Wilkinson system on horse racing it has yielded a profit of £15,000.   With the new market move indicator I expect this to increase by a further 5%.   I will be adding some additional filters soon to increase the profit even more.

With over £2000 of free bets available on ukracinginfo.com there really is no excuse no to start making money now.

Cheltenham week review

I started the Cheltenham festival 3456.41 down for the month of March so I went into the festival with my head very focused on making profit as well as enjoying the spectacle.  I have finished the week in front for the month to the tune of £1085.99.  I think that is a pretty impressive performance in anybody books.

When you factor into this the fact that only 2 favourites won at Cheltenham and there were more surprise results than normal due the weather conditions and changes in running order and the general differences which made form less reliable.  I had no massive priced winner which for me is a disappointment.   My winners were Captian Cee Bee 8/1, Garde Champetre 11/2, Tidal Bay 15/2, Albertas Run 5/1, Denman 2/1, Master Minded 10/3 and Naid de Misselot 15/2.  These were all selected by the Wilkinson system.   Wilkinson weighed in with a healthy £1332.47 from the festival.  It has now passed the 15k mark in just 6 months.  I adding features to tune and also find more opportunities with Irish racing and football.  More sports will be added in the coming weeks.   I have also added 2 new bookmakers to the parser Pagebet and 888sports.

My Portfolio profit for the day: -£114.30
My Portfolio profit for the month:  £1085.99
My Portfolio profit for the year: £21907.15

Wilkinson profit for the day: -£114.30
Wilkinson profit for the month (day 29): £3220.15
Wilkinson profit for the year: £15077.94

Cheltenham Festival 2008 is over

The festival is over for another year and it is back to the usual daily routine racing and sports trading to make a living.   I really enjoyed the festival.  In my opinion the weather did really spoil it and I had to keep my stakes to a minimum and use all my skills to ensure a healthy profit.  I will post more on this later this evening when I get all my accounts together.  It has been a profitable week.   I could have done better as usual but on the flip side I could have easily done my brains at Cheltenham.   The Wilkinson system continued to perform well and I have been improving the scalper page to make it friendlier.  I will also being added a few more filter to improve the already awesome strike ratio.  Today I also added Irish racing to the mix due to popular demand.

The wait is over – Cheltenham 2008 is upon us

My advice for betting at Cheltenham is keep it simple and don’t just get tempted by big prices and has a chance.  In recent years for most races it tends to be the top 6 in the betting that win.  Markets are change very near to off.   Keep your stakes small at the start of the festival until you get confidence in the grounds conditions and your selections.  Below I have listed out my early thoughts on the races but these will change as the markets develop.

Anglo Irish Bank Supreme Novice Hurdle

There could be as many as 23 runners going to post. History suggests though that most in field can’t win. If we remove all horse that has not won last time out then the number of contenders is reduced to a manageable size.

The short list now stands at:-

Captain Cee Dee Age: 7 Scratch as 7 year olds can be opposed in this race
Sentry Duty Age: 6 French bred over 4 years bad record

Pasco Age: 5
Pigeon Island Age: 5
Rippling Ring Age: 5

Muirhead Age: 5 Irish bred
Binocular Age: 4 French bred 4 year olds good record

Looking at the market I go for Binocular right now but any of the bottom five if they are in the top of the market would have a chance.

Selection: Binocular ½ Each way 9/1 Paddy Power ¼ 4 places

IRISH INDEPENDENT ARKLE CHALLENGE TROPHY CHASE GRADE 1 (CLASS 1)

Scratch horses that have not finished 1st or 2rd in their last outings.

The short list now stands at:-

Leslingtaylor
Orpen Wide
Ring the Boss
Tidal Bay

My shortlist:

Noland
Thyne Again
Kruguyrova

Selection: Kruguyrova ½ point each way 14/1 Blue Square

SMURFIT KAPPA CHAMPION HURDLE CHALLENGE TROPHY GRADE 1 (CLASS 1) (4yo+)

Using the same process the short list becomes:

Afsoun
Catch Me
Katchit
Osana
Sizing Europe

I can’t see past Sizing Europe but he not a play for at 5/2 with Ladbrokes. I am trading him a little. There are others note on my short list that I think have that specialist Cheltenham magic Sublimity and Ebaziyan.

Selection: ¼ point Sublimity 6/1 each way and ¼ point each way Ebaziyan 40/1

WILLIAM HILL TROPHY HANDICAP CHASE GRADE 3 (CLASS 1)

Very short list for this one.

Fundamentalist
An Accordion
King Harald

Selection: King Harald 11/1 0.5 each way Paddy Power 4 places

BGC HANDICAP CHASE (CROSS COUNTRY CHASE) (CLASS 2) (5yo+)

For me I can’t see past Heads on the ground. I am therefore going to oppose the favouirte Wonder Kid.

Selection: 1 point lay Wonder Kid 5/2

FRED WINTER JUVENILE NOVICES’ HANDICAP HURDLE (LISTED RACE) (CLASS 1)

A massive field and therefore I can’t back the favourite at 11/4. So I am going to go for 2 at a price.

Selections: ¼ each way Hypnotic Vibes 50/1 Boyles 5 places and ¼ point each way Western point 50/1 Boyles 50/1 5 places

Quiet Sunday

With the Cheltenham Festival nearly upon us it was bound to be a fairly quiet Sunday. I made a very modest loss on the day thanks to rule 4. I will be working hard on Monday to check everything is in place for the festival. I am confident that it is going to be a very profitable Cheltenham and it will be definitely be an enjoyable one. I am intrigued to see how Wilkinson does at the festival I suspect it will do very well as it has a habit of getting in early on the gambles.

Friday the back luck continues

March is continuing to be a very challenging month.   I am using all my skills to keep the losses in check but I could do with a few winners to get the month off and running.  I am very pleased with the way I am maintaining my discipline.

Cheltenham is looming so there is a good chance by the end of the festival I will be back in front for the month.

My Portfolio profit for the day: -£879.50
My Portfolio profit for the month: -£3077.91
My Portfolio profit for the year: £17738.02

Wilkinson profit for the day:  -£203.5

Wilkinson profit for the month (day 20): £1320.52
Wilkinson profit for the year: £13178.32

I am glad there are only 24 hours in a day

Yesterday can only be described as challenging and nothing really went my way.   On the racing front my selections continue to either fall or finish second.  Hopefully though half my stake will be return on the faller as I backed it with vcbet.  Tottenham were disappointing in the football.  The bookmakers changed their feeds so I have to rewrite the parser last night and this morning.

Wilkinson did bring a smile to my face though as it had 3 winners from 4 selections yielding a profit of £346.74.  Unfortunately a big losing day for me was still suffered.

My Portfolio profit for the day: -£931.48
My Portfolio profit for the month: -£2198.41
My Portfolio profit for the year: £118617.52

Wilkinson profit for the day:  £346.74
