Over confidence and I paid the price with Digital Media

At 4pm today I was looking at a very healthy profit for the day. One of my systems had Digital Media up as a lay. Now I had laid 20% of stake at 3.65. When I got to check the race at 3.58pm the price had drifted signifcantly but just within my acceptable 1.0. I laid in chunks the rest of the 80% of my stake.
The race started and I was watching the betfair prices along with listening to betfair radio. I thought that I should put a trade in running as Digitial Media price had drifted sharply in running but this was based on a couple of horses that where going much better. I knew that Digitigal Media would plod on to the end.
I saw 12.0, 16.0 , 20s, 25 and then 55.0. I went to back the horse but stupidly decided not to click submit. I then had a painful minute as Digital Media managed to get up by a head on the line. A painful way to lose £1750. 
It was my fault and my usual good judgement had been affected by over confidence.
So as it stands at the moment I will be posted a loss for today rather than a large profit. All because I wanted that little extra. Unlike with bets I don’t have a pre-calculated trade out value put in the system. I have meant to do this for ages well hopefully by the weekend I will have a some values.
Come on England.

Month 3 Day 5 Treading water again

After a big winning weekend, the last 2 days I have been treading water. To be honest it has not been as simple as that. I have one system that has produced 13 consective losers. Unfortunately for me it is not a laying system 
Wilkinson is going through a purple patch to compensate. I think this concides with the improvement to the selection finder for this. I am hopeful I will have a finder for football by the weekend as well. I was unlucky with my trading yesterday as 2 selections just failed to trade out in running due to jumping errors.
This is the new permanent location of my blog. Please bear with me as I improve the layout and get use to the new blog software. For those who are impatient then all I can do is apologise as I have had to move the blog due to circumstances outside of my control.
Profit for the day: -£22.79
Profit for the month: £2478.99
Sorry for the lack of colours today. I am just finding my way with Wordpress.
