After a great to start to January things are getting a little bit more difficult and my confidence is slightly dented as I am not playing as well as I know I could. Maybe it is because work is quite stressful and this is affecting my clarity or maybe I have just got a little over confident and am not sticking to the successful strategy.
I had some near misses today but ultimately a lay on my threshold that won despite making jumping error meant it was another big losing day. This was compounded by some poor application of the Wilkinson system at Kempton which changed a winning day for Wilkinson into a losing day.
