A quite day today with just one successful dutch in 12.40 netting a profit £122.92 and a very modest profit for Wilkinson of £30.47. So after 4 days of the new regime I stand £-60.46 down. Confidence remains high though despite yesterdays problems.

Firstly and most importantly today was a losing day. There were several unfortunate reasons for this. Problem number 1 was that despite 2 bets being taken by betfred on the internet when I went to my accounts in the evening they had vanished. When I questioned about they said it have failed the automartic risk control and the best had timed out. I am afraid this is not true as they appeared on in my statement as open bets. So from now on I will be capturing as much evidence in case this happens in the future. Today it only cost me a few hundred quid it could have been a lot more.
Problem number 2 seemed to be a fault in the software that I was using to evaluate my ratings or it could have been a manual error. Either way it had the wrong going in for one of the races and subsequently I laid and backed the wrong horses. The lay won which costs me another few hundred quid.
Problem number 3 well they do say these things come in three’s. I backed a horse that was 7/1 to with corals when I went to confirm the bet the price had changed to 6/1. I backed it and it won. 7/1 was still wide available. I seem to only make this mistake on the corals site as it only shows in small text what has happened. This costs me £100 of additional winnings.
So a mixture of bad luck and not being precise enough about my work. At least it only cost me a few hundred and I am can analsye what went wrong and try to ensure this does happen in the future. I think a lot has to do with tiredness but only a week and bit until I have a break.
Net loss on the day was around £740 mark. Wilkinson made another £144.69. Safetly in 4k zone now in well under 3 months.
