An interesting Sunday. There were 2 succesful lays in Arctic Ghost and Saint Godegrand. 1 succesful dutch in Officer de reserver and nice try. The Wilkinson system chipped in with a profit of £105.87 on the day.
Day 2 Profit £429.68
Running total £525.68
Good start but early days. The weather is going to prove a problem over the next few days and restrict opportunities.

The day consisted of 2 lays, 1 bet and 4 dutches excluding the Wilkinson system which had a very busy day, more on that later. The first lay was Another Chat in the 2.20 Towcester which we will nickname the pile up race. A comical race in which it looked like I had done my money when the main rivals in the market fell or where brought down. Fortunately though Another Chat ran out of steam after traded all the way 1.08 for a lot of money. A fortunate result for me.
The second lay of the day was Special Envoy. This horse attracted a lot of money after its impressive and unfortunate performance the week before. I felt though that Inglis Drever was the class horse and would win and this proved to be the case. So a nice start on the laying front for day 1.
The first dutch of the day was in 12.10 Newcastle where I feel I was unfortunate with both Mister Magnum and Sounds of cheers travelling well for long periods of the race. I did have trade out positions but they were never quite meet and I eventually lost on the race.
The second dutch on the day was in 13.00 Newbury where I had Jim Edwards and O’maley running for me. O’maley was out of the conquest early on and so it was left to Jim Edwards who ran well but not enough to meet my trading position.
The third dutch was in 1.15 Newcastle where I fancied Shrewd Investor coupled with something gold. Again I lost Something gold earlier so it was left Shrewd Investor who won but only just. I was traded out well before the tight finish though so no nervous moments for me in this one.
The fourth dutch was in 2.05 at Newbury were I really fancied Inglis Drever. I coupled him with Blazing Baily just to be sure. Both horses ran well and I was traded out nice an early on this one. So a 50% strike ratio on the dutches for the day but a nice profit as the higher value dutches one. Still not the best of starts.
The Wilkinson system had a disappointing day and finished -145.54. Friday has been a great day for Wilkinson making £316.22. Friday effort had taken the system over the 4k mark from just 71 days, which is rather impressive in my opinion.
The main bet of the day was in the fighting fifth where Katchit was flagged up. This was backed with Corals. I did fear Harchibald so I put a lay in the system at the off. This proved to be a wise decision. The trade off was matched although I did not realise this until after the race when I saw a lovely green number against Harchibald.
Day 1 profit £96.00

Saturday December 1st is the start of a new financial year for me. The reason for this is I have changed what I am doing. I have decided not to wait a further month before making changes.
Firstly there will be no more Melchior or any of the Isis systems. I have to say I sent an email last week to Roy at Isis systems and he has not replied. I am disappointed that they recent brochure only concentrates on select results. If you had followed any or all of their systems you would have made a lost and a considerable one at their recommended stakes. Enough about Isis systems as this is part of my education.
Secondly I have decided not to renew my subscription with Personal Info. Again the main reason is that I have lost money and although I am confident in the long run I would show a profit the effort to reward ratio is not enough for me. In addition you can often need to find 3 times in the day to get selections which makes it more difficult.
Thirdly I will be running a variable bank this year. Profits will be used for salary and building up reverse bank.
Fourthly I will be applying a lot more of my own judgement and my own selections. These means the Wilkinson system profits will be included in the overall performance of the bank. In fact everything related to gambling will be included except money secured via the website. This revenue will not be included.
Lastly I am not setting a profit target for the year or monthly targets. The reason is simple I am not intending in doing this for 12 months. I intend to continue to operate in this manner for a long time and I expect to making a considerable income out of this. In addition I want to share my knowledge with other people.
How do I feel about the my trading future? The answer is simple I have never felt this confident or relaxed. The key difference is the fact that I am not stressed about the future. I am not worried about missing some days racing or not being able to trade on a particular day. I feel I have all the skills to make this happen. I think you will soon see that I have progressed and could if I choose could go full time. I am not going to go full time though.
The reason I am not going to go full time is simple I would miss the social element of going to work and in addition multiple revenues streams are better than one.
