You may think that I should ditch the each way backing as I can seem to back a placed horse let alone a winner right now but thinks will turn around. When you back a horse at 20/1 each way and it retruns 9/1 SP then you know you are doing the right thing. In addition if you backing horses >7/1 you also know that you will have long losing runs and that is exactly what I am having right now.
The difference between a succesful trader gambler and a unsuccessful one is often just a state of mind. I feel my state of mind is very good right now when it comes to horse racing. You may think that this is temporary and mainly due to the fact that although I have had a few losing days of late I am still made a very good profit for the month. I would counter this with the fact that I have done nothing difference throughout the month. In fact I have had found some days quite teadous and bordering on boring. For the first ever I really do feel like this is a job and a job that I have the right skills for and a job that I am going to be successful in.
There are many parts to this jobs. Managing money, managing bookmaker and exchange accounts, time management (insuring that you are able to place bets and lays at the right time and in the right frame of mind).
One key thing that has made a difference for me is not to think about targets whether they be daily, monthly or yearly. All I do is try to do the best with each of the systems I use. I have full confidence in them esle I would not use them.
With the new month and year just around the corner I think everybody will be interested to see whether I can repeat December’s profit in January, February and the months to come. Who knows and to be honest who really cares. The thing is I am confident I am doing the right stuff. I am really do think the Wilkinson system is truly fabulous system. The challenge will be to maintain enough bookmakers account open to keep running it.

Well somehowe the yids managed to win 6-4. Amazing because of the commical defending. On the gambling front I tried for the first time in anger the Wilkinson system on the football and it made a £4 loss. Will be interesting to see how this goes over the next few weeks.
Onto the horse racing it was pretty much a the same story as it has been for the last few racing days. A solid day with Wilkinson netting a profit of £92 taking its total to just over £8000 in 100 elapsed days. I would certainly settled for that retrun of £80 a day over a year.
My each way selections are currently not working out but they will so another lose of £200 today. I made a trading profit of £338.82 to mean a solid profit on the day. I am using the profit form the Wilkinson system and my trading to supplement my each way selections right now. In the long run the each way selections will probably net a greater return.
Profit for the day: £238.82
Profit for the month: £12991.17

After the fantastic start to the month of the December the second half of the month has been difficult. The profit is still good but not on the same scale as the beginning of the month. I do feel I am due a large winning day soon. The each way selections are running well but just finishing out of the frame right now. I am sure it won’t be long before one or two of these drop in.

A very busy days racing. It proved to be the most unsucessful of the month. Kauto Star won as expected and I had a very large bet and scalp on this horse but this is outisde the account. What a great horse though.
Profit for the day: -£972.46
Profit for Wilkinson on the day: £113.06 (excluding football to added later)
Profit for the month: £11556.98
For the observant I am using Wilkinson now on other sports. The first sport I am trialling in anger is football and so far so good.

I had no intention on playing at Thurles today but I had a spare few minutes waiting for something else to finish so I thought I have a quick look. Wilkinson suggesting 3 selections. Agamard at 9/4 with tote, cousin peter 5/2 with betfred and Oscar Dan Dan with William Hill at 7/4. With the lure of double commission points I thought I might as well. 2 winners out 3 later and a profit of £114.73. It does show how flexible Wilkinson is. I had now tried on English racing, Irish racing and French racing and it seems to work. I have used both betfair and betdaq as well to cover my bases and it works on both of them. I did a whole week of just betdaq and there is no noticeable difference.
Profit the day: £114.73

Despite finishing on a losing day going into the Christmas break I am happy with the way I played today. It is was always going to be a little bit difficult with Newcastle called off and Ascot having to have a thrid inspection. I am also not bothered that 2 off the services I used to use had winning days either. Personal info had a 6 point each way bet on Jack the Giant at 9/2. Nice profit for them. I made a few quid on Jack the Giant myself. Melchior also had a winner as well but at the end of the day these systems have had a bad year and also for me personally are a little too hectic.
The Wilkinson system maintained its winning run. Neting a profit of £159.10. I do think if the card at Wolverhampton had been completed this would have been a lot more.
I wish all my readers a very happy christmas and a prospertious new year. Over the next few days I will publish my thoughts and resolutions for the new year. It will be interesting to see how I go and what my average profit per month becomes after a few months. Remember I have set no targets this year. When conditions are right I play to win as much as I can. I try to get as many angles in my favour as possible and I analyse my performance on each and every race I play in. Remember if you don’t think it is an investment and you don’t think you have your bases covered then don’t bet. Watch and enjoy the race.

What looked at first if it going to be hard struggle with not the best of racing to work with ended up with a nice fat profit at the end of the day. Some terrific winners at Wolverhampton. I hammered Billy Hill this evening. Really pleased with my performance overall today on what was a trappy day to say the least.
I dutched the first race of day at Uttoxeter with Naxox and Paradise expected. This was the only backing race on the new Brimardon software. It was not a pro race so I made a decision to try and trade out earlier which I duly did.
The Wilkinson system had an in and out day. Not many winners but the winners it did have were nicely priced. Winners included Sir Sandcliff 8/1 Paddy Power, Sir Bond 8/1 William Hill, Stolt 7/1 William Hill and Monashee Brave 5/1 vcbet.
Thanks for all the nice comments. It is the last day of racing tomorrow before the 3 days break. I am really looking forward to break. Even though I am on a purple patch I could do with a break to refresh the batteries. I know every month won’t be like this month but if Wilkinson continues to bring in the steady profits and I can trade my way in and out of other situations then I think I can maintain a decent momentum.
As I said at the beginning of the month I don’t have any targets anymore. The strategy is simple to try and make as much money as possibly can on each and every day. The mechanisms I use to generate this profit are Brimardon and 3 systems of my own (Wilkinson, 5 star and each way system). It is likely I will introduce a few more of my own systems when I have had a chance to finalise my analysis.
At the end of each month I will split the profit (assuming I made a profit) in half. 50% of the profit will be paid to me as a salary and the other 50% will get stored as a reverse bank. If the reverse bank gets to 100% then I will consider and only then increasing my stakes. Albeit it is hard enough to get the current stakes on but that is something I feel I can address in the next few weeks.
Profit for the day on Wilkinson: £369.82
Profit for the day: £554.46
Profit for the month: £12824.35

It is just over a month since the new Brimardon v3.0 was launched and it continues to deliver the results with excellent strike rates and more importantly impressive profits. As you know from my radio interview when it comes to gambling on the horses I rather not place a bet unless I think it is an investment and I try to put as many things in my favour.
My profit from Brimardon yesterday was £1627.53. This included a nice exacta 22/1 exacta in the 1.50 at Exeter. Please not that my figures will differ from those of other members as I use the persistence betting to trade off. I am not bothered that this reduces my profit sometimes and maybe slightly in the long run as the benefit is I have a lot less losing days. The less losing days you can have the better as this builds you confidence in your decision making. This is a key skill which I will be working on to improve in the next few months. I already believe I am good at this but I think I can get even better.
Wilkinson finished the day with a profit of £296.54. This brought 3rd month profit to a staggering £3931.54. The 90 day total for the system stands at a whopping £7104.43. I am going to use the 3 day break in racing to analysis the results and decide on whether to makes some tweaks to the system on staking as I do believe I can produce, dare I say it, better results. There is a theory if ain’t broke don’t fix it. So I will only make very small changes if I make any at all. 3 months is only a short time for a system anyway.
Profit for today: £1924.07
Profit for the month: £12269.89

Apologies for the lack of consistent update but as we all know Christmas is a busy time. Today was a nearly day with 2rd and big priced ones not quite winning. Wilkinson had another losing day albeit small. Will be interested to see whether this is just a blip or whether the system is actually not working anymore. I doubt the later but will keep a constant eye on things.
