Slightly better day today

Another exciting Twenty 20 match in which South Africa bottled it big time.  I told you they would not win the tournament just did not know who would.   I am currently watching the Spurs game and yet again no clean sheet.  A fairly good performance but more negatives than positive in my opinion.   Great reception for Defoe though.

In the racing front well I had a winner today but ultimately a very disappointing day again.   A big each way bet came second.  A couple of big priced seconds as well.  If one had done the business then I would have done well.

Made a few quid at Wolverhampton tonight using the scalper.   In the 7.20 Silver Prelude was backed from 3-1 into 7/4.   The bookies were always well behind the exchanges so it was very easy to cash.  At the start of the gamble you back at 3/1 and lay comfortably at 5/2.

Spurs game finished 6-1.  Well done Jermaine Defoe.

Amazing few hours in sport

It started with Yuvraj Singh 6 sixes.  This was followed by the announcement that Jose Mourinho had quit Chelsea.  Well at least Martin Jol won’t be the first causality in the Premiership this season.

Today we have the clash between Australia and Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan and finally South Africa versus India.  All games are likely to be very exciting.

There are 4 meeting on the horse racing circuit to enjoy.   Ayr, Pontrefract, Wolverhampton and the final day at Yarmouth.   Hopefully today will be a return to form for the systems.  As I said in an earlier post I have started the process of budgeting for next year and determining my strategies.
