In hindsight it was bound to happen. With all the disruptions in my life from work and lack of sleep I missed out on 15 points profit today because I forgot to phone back one of my systems which was late on. In fact the only reason I found out is one of my friends did actually the same. Boy was I mad with myself last night. After nearly 3 years using this service and never making this mistake I went and did it 6 weeks into the larger stakes zone.
All part of the learning and evaluation process. The important thing is to not chase it. I have to account for it and then forget it. In the long run if I hit my profit targets then 15 points will only be a small percentage of my yearly profit. If I don’t hit my profit target then that is the issue and not the 15 points.
To avoid this happening in the future I have printed out the check sheet Clare use when I was on my Java course. I will be using this to make sure I don’t make the same or similar mistakes.
It was still a very profitable day yesterday though which was good news. No early morning calls today either so maybe things are on there way up finally.
At the weekend I am going to start looking for jobs that would give me some social interaction but also fit around my time sentive betting medium which is horse racing. So I need to look for jobs that start very early and finish early or evening jobs. The latter would be a problem in summer though
