Just heard that the weather has meant the cancellation of racing at Taunton.

Since everybody and their dog has opinion on this here is mine.   People complain about experiment on animals, well I say what about the experiment on celebrities?  Big brother is nothing short of this.   The objective is to make watchable tv.   The easiest way to do this is make it controversial and they have succeeded again.   I don’t know about you but I observe the behaviour expressed in the program in my every day life.   Plan and simple their is a lot of  female jealously in the house going on.

The disappointment for me is the behaviour of Jo I was hopeful that she would rise above this childish petty jealously but instead she is consumed by it.    The public did not expect anything less for Jade and she is playing the part she believes she was paid to do.

The two people to come out of the show with credit are Jermaine and Shilpa.   They have been very impressive despite being in a very different situation to their normal environment.  I feel sorry for Teddy Sheringham as after a good start by Danielle she has shown her shallow side.

Anyway that is my take on it.  On the racing front it continues to be up and down with 2 systems making a profit yesterday and one losing.   Cash flow management has become very important but under control although had trouble getting one bet on yesterday but it is all part of the game.

Today racing is from Wolverhampton , Taunton and Ludlow.  All will be affected by the bad weather so caution is the word of the day.  For me this period in my betting life is a period of reflection and a reminder that long term profit is the only thing that really matters.

Work continues to be a challenge which allows me to maintain a level of diversity in my life.
