Another up and down day which resulted in a small profit.  Still well over 50 points down for month but at least some of systems are in profit now and performing to expected levels.  All I need now is the 2 that are not doing so well to turn their form around and things will look better.   A real tough day at work but that have kept me focused and no worried about the selections.

I saw both sides of luck in one afternoon of racing.  First up was a lucky winner with Fredensborg when Lead On fell at the last.  Later that day I was on a dutch in 3.50 Kempton which only just met the ROI only to watch the jockey wait for a gap that never came.  Thanks to the luck though I returned a profit day only the second of the year. 

Looking more closely at the systems, the problem lies mainly with one system which is on 25 race losing run (50 points)  This is probably a system which would beneift from trading rather than straight gambling.  Yesterday the first selection was backed at 40/1 into 8/1 before the off.  Could have traded out on the exchanges at 11s easily and the place compontent at 4s.   The second selection was also well backed from 15/2 to 5/1.  Weekend work will be to analysis a model of trading around this.
