I have gone through today’s race cards and there is not much too inspire me. Most races have short price favourites that are my top rated but far too short to get involved. In the 3.35 Exeter they maybe an opportunity to get involved in the each way market if the dead eight run. The 7/1 offered on Magot de grugy maybe worth a few pennies. Mister Quasimodo should win comfortably but this is a novice chase and therefore mistakes can happen, less likely on heavy ground but if the horse finishes in the top three then you make a small profit. If the layers get stuck in to Mister Quasimodo then a dutch maybe be possible but I think this is unlikely.
On the subject of dutching I think they maybe a dutching opportunity in the 2pm at Catterick. The fav and second fav are steady with most rating systems and currently priced with a ROI value of 68%. The danger is the third favourite Himilyan Trail who has shown form on the heavy ground. If the ground is soft or dryer then this dutch in my opinion represents good value so will be keeping a keen eye on the earlier races.
On the trading side of things again not seeing much to jump out at me. I think Ladalko is a possible, may back it before the race and lay off in running as I expect a very good run from this one. I am going to turn my eye to football though were I think the better opportunities lie.
One again I wish everybody a very happy new year. Let’s all make this a best year on record.
