Life of Brian Monday

Posted By ramps On 20/11/2006 @ 06:38 am In BC's diary | No Comments

Woke 5.55am.  Got up and made the tea.   Checked my finances using egg money manager.  Next checked how the traffic has been to my website for the previous week pleased that it average roughly 1600 visitors.

I have now just had a quick read of the blogs of lastminuteliving.com and am now updating my blog.  The next thing I am going to do is login to work to check everything is cool before catching my train from Ash Vale to Woking.   Will get to work at approx 8am.

At around 9.30am I will login in the Melchior website to see if there is a bet for today.   Before then the day will consist of reading and replying to emails and if time allows Changing the apache config file in QA to assist with SEO.

At 10am I have 2 hour management meeting.  After the meeting I will quickly call both the bet collection and brimardon.   I am not expecting any selections today.  My list of race is down to 2.20 and 2.50 at Ludlow but forecast prices look prohibitive.

The afternoon will consist of working on stuff that has come through out the morning.  If nothing has come up then I will hope to finish the config and then test it.   In addition I will log a change request complete the roll out of release 10 in production.

Assuming a normal day I will leave the office at approx 5.40 to catch 5.51 to Ash Vale.  On arriving home I will do my accounts.  Get the data for the next days races.  Print the data for the next days racing and short list the high strike ratio races with good forecast prices.  I will then run the results parser for the previous day and update my main website.   I will then watch a bit of TV assuming it is not too late and then the best bit I go to sleep and repeat the process for the next 4 days.
