Boiler breaks

The patchy start to November continues.   To add to my ropey internet connection my boiler has decided to pack up.   I have a lot of opportunites to think about currently so am feeling a little bit of the strain.   I am remain focused on my goals though.   The most important thing is finding the right balance between my investments, my gambling (trading) and my social aspirations.

I have to be confident that I am not the same person who ventured into the bigger stakes leagues just under 2 years a go.    I now have a proven track record and although I have not made a fortune I have made a reasonable amount.  For example my sister works at 2 jobs and takes home less money than I have made from gambling in the year.

I have also built up a small but extremly useful support network of people who buy and use other peoples system to make money.   In fact it is surprising how many systems out there actually make good money and how good honest business’s their actually are.   In fact I actually feel a little guilty that I buy a system on the internet, follow the system and make a lot of money.  In the past I have always believed the only way to success is damn hard work but recently I am not so sure.

I am still under decided as to what I will actually be doing in the new year.  I am very tempted to give up the day job but then when I think about it I don’t really need to and I will miss the social interaction.  My partner Clare is dead against me doing it but there is a lot more discussion to be had there in many areas.

The next dilema is what systems I will using next year and what my staking plan will be.   The plan originally was just to follow one system and just raise the stakes to £100 per point.  Towards the end of this year though I have spread my wings and tried other systems and am very impressed.   I will certainly have more than 1 system next year.  So far I have only comitted myself to 1 that being the melchior system.  Basically because this system is cheap only £20 per month for annual membership, strike ratio is 67% and information is available from 9.30am which means it is easier to time manage.
