Friends

August seems to be a good month for catching old with friends.  I got an email over the weekend from my friend hunny who I met via this lovely lastminutelving blogs.   I now also in contact with an old school friend Jane who is still in contact with a few other friends I use to know.  So hopefully in the not to distant future I be able to meet up with a few of them.   

Still feeling a little under the weather today but will power through.  The betting still not going well with one second, one third and one winner last night.  It is the start of the York Ebor meeting which may provides some opportunities if the weather remains fairly constant but I probably just watch today and see how the results pane out.   Patience is such a vital weapon when gambling.   It is also looks as if the new version of Brimardon is not going to be ready until the start of National Hunt season.  For now though my priorities lie with lastminute.com.
