August is nearly over and the day’s are getting shorter. Waking up in the dark and going to bed in the dark. Another average day at work yesterday as things just continue to get more inefficient by the minute. 2 days until the weekend which I am looking forward too. Hopefully will get sometime to write a flat stats parser and add this automated monitoring statistics. I will tweaking my meta tags as well as I am not making much impact on the traffic front of late.

I have nearly finished the first rich dad poor dad book which has been an interesting read but nothing more than that. Yesterday was a pretty average day at work. The trains are supposed to back to normal today which is a bonus. Had one winner and one loser at Ripon yesterday. I know many people don’t bet at Ripon but Brimardon has a good record there normally. This will be monitored carefully though.
I am trying to find any people who use personal info as I heard a lot of good things about service. The besttipping.com shows that it has a conistent profit too even if you take sp prices. I like the look Isiris but the people I have spoken to say getting the prices is difficult and because of the varying time would not fit in with my job. If I did go full time then this maybe one to consider. I was thinking of say buying into 4 services and managing 4 banks. Alternatively I may just use one of my systems this is what I am weighing up currently.

I left my house at 7am this morning and arrived at the office 8.45am. I knew that South West Trains were on strike (because they are greedy and the inland revenue should investigate them for noy declaring expenses to and from work). I had checked the emergenecy time table and dutied walked to Ash station. I caught the 7.34 train which was a little late. I arrived at Guildford station which is normally rammed at this time. It was quite empty so and the information boards were not working. I walked over to a guy with a timetable to check my train was still running and alas it was not and had to wait 50 minutes for a train. The time was not wasted though as I started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad last night so I managed to read a copule more chapters on the way to work.
Yes, I have decided to educate myself more on the way to work and utilise this time efficiently as knowledge is the ultimate prize you know. The good thing about this book is that it agrees with many of the things I already do and that other people say that I am wrong about. I am lucky enough to have been bought 3 of the series of books. So i will read and comprehend these over the next few weeks. Look out for some changes in my outlook on life and the way I approach opportunities. I am not going to talk the talk on hear I will just do the walking and you will see how I get on.
Only one flat meeting today so unlikely to get involved.

Today was a successful day as I managed to convert 800 pounds credit to cash in the space of 40 minutes in 5 races. A very difficult day for punters by the looks of things. Brimardon did well again today bagging a 9/2 winners and 6/1 winner from the 2 maidens of the day which they got involved with. So another nice profit there. Looks as if August will finish in profit as it did last year. I am hoping that this is the start of 6 month winning run or longer as it was last year.
The rest of the day was spent looking after Clare who was not well and wanted me to watch the God Father with her. Which I did and enjoyed it. I have now updated my accounts and now the blog. I be having a bath in a minute whilst the parser gets to work with todays racing results.
Tomorrow I am back to work. I have Poor Dad Rich Dad to read on the train. Just remembered train strike tomorow so the reading will have to wait until Wednesday. I noticed the main web site has stablished in the top million sites which is good news. More popular than the small bookmakers like bet odd and even. I suspect the site to make good progress in the next few weeks as I publish more and more SEO friendly pages.
Now that I have the top 4 uk ratings systems monitored I am keen to expand my net to the tipping and information services. I am monitoring the Mathematician service free for a month. It also flagged up the 6/1 Brimardon winner today as well. Missed out on the 13/2 price and only got 5/1 as both sets of subscribers piled in. With Betfair down at the time I could not cash in on the trading angle. It is great to have many weapons to make cash in my armoury. I have been doing that much trading recently but when I have I have cashed in. Have not done any cash converting for a copule of months but today that worked beautifully too.
I know I must keep my feet firmly on the ground but my confidence is sky high. Had 3 calls about possible alternative jobs as well. The important thing now is not to rush and stay focussed.
Just going through the results and realised flat stats already paid for itself. I have one cheeky each way bet on Boogie dancer with bet365 at 200/1. It finished 3rd. Get in there

I have done my homework and despite there being 7 meetings I have only 4 bets today. I will be looking to do some cash converting on betfair latter if the liquidity and stability reach a satisfaction point otherwise this will wait until next weekend. Still suffering with the man cold so will be taking the day fairly easy.
I am swamped with data and information on today’s racing and throughout the next few weeks and months I need to determine a mechanism of analysing this data effectivity and finding the right opportunities.
I am really impressed with the data available with flat stats the problem is it look so easy but in reality you know if it not otherwise everybody would be making money.

3 good nights sleep in a row must be some kind of record for this year. This afternoon is going to be a bit hectic with racing and work. I have also need to be back in Ash Vale for 7pm latest as Clare has organised a surprise night out for her mum tonight.
Still trying to get to grips for flat stats I think this one is going to take some time it is not as straight forward as the other rating systems as it provides so much more data and give the subscriber more to think about. Had some good winner yesterday but so did a lot of systems. As I know it the consistent profit year in year out that is important.

After several weeks of sole searching and trying to find the best out of a not great situation at work I have decided to dust off my CV and start the process of assessing my opportunites. I have now updated it and slapped on Monster. I want to start slow as currently this is just an exercise in monitoring what possibilites I have. I personally believe that I have a lot of skills to offer in many different areas and I think lastminute.com is holding me back. In fact I truly believe my obsession which proving the racing would work was a kind of disguise. A mechanism to hide from the fact I don’t get that magical buss from my work anymore.
Yes I love the people still but that is just not enough. When you have to work with such restrictions that make your life so difficult. Anyway enough on that subject for now lets just see what turns up. This may sound like a bit of about turn and maybe you are thinking well he has realised he can’t make the racing work so he is sticking with what he knows best. I disagree I have just remembered that the buzz I can get from racing is the same buzz I used get from my main job.
On the same token this does not mean I am giving the racing up for now. In fact I purchased flat stats yesterday so I can start monitoring this. In addition I had 2 winners today for a nice profit which was good for me. Although I do a have big credit/cash flow situation currently. Namely I have a big postive balance on my credit card but very little cash in my betfair account. I might have to find some time on Monday to do a bit of cash converting. Would be useful for my betfair commission points as well as I have slipped in 4.5% zone because of the lack of lays I have been doing recently.
Amazing what happens when you have 2 good nights sleep

What a luxury I have a day off today and this has resulted in an extra hour in bed. I have to have some paracetmol in the night though as my throat was so sore I could not sleep. So the man cold is still winning.
Small profit on the horses yesterday. Had a look at the yearly picture and although I am in profit for the year I have more losing months than profit months and as many losing month this year as I had last year. So unless August remains in profit and is the start of another 6 month winning run then I think I may not longer be a Brimardon member next year. Lets hope September is a big winning month like June that would be nice.

Yesterday was a long day with a visit to headquarters as well. My cold has progressed and is really being to restrict my energy and the speed at which I can do things. Brimardon decided to go in large yesterday but I had to wait until the last race to get back in profit when Peter Island won at 8/1. A poor return of investment on the day but a least not huge loss which looked as if it was going to be.
Anyway after today is finished I have 4 days off to rest and work on my racing database and iron a few bugs in the presentation which I have noticed. The plan would be to fix the bugs, add the betfair data and finish the graphs.
