From a betting stance I made £200 which since I only made a few trades very happy with. Bonus money since my choosen specialist sport is the sport of kings although football is in my roadmap for 2010.
From a football perspective the world cup was a disappointment. In my opinion England copied Portugal negative tactics of trying not to wins games. Any sports secientist will tell you this is a road to failure. Why we did not attack Portugal and give our players a chance to win the game in 90 minutes I don’t know.
As for the penalties debate I have a very strong opinion. If a jockey had performed that badly he would have been suspended and investigating for possible fraud. For Gerrard and Lampard to hit the ball so poorly there is no excuse.

It is the start of another week. This week is likely to be mainly focused on boring configurations changes required for SOX. The US vendor is supposed to go live on Wednesday as well which could be interesting.
On the betting front got mugged by the tote yesterday. Had a place bet on True West which returned 1.6 for 18/1 shot. Last time I use the tote for places I can tell you. I bought a 17" TFT LCD TV for the bedroom last night which works well.
