Can’t buy a winner

July continues to be a disappointment for me.

I backed Bijli (IRE) and it beat it’s main rivals only to be done by 2 outsiders this seems to be the way for me atm.

Thunderstorms

I am writing as a thunderstorms looms around my new house.   I am back to my main job today at lastminute and will be starting my long walk (for me) to the station in a minute to give me plenty of time to catch 7.50am train.  This gets me into to work just after 8am.  This give me half hour or so until the business arrives and starts to infere with my best laid plans.

On the betting front had to rely on Italy to level the account after a bad day on the horses. No main account bets but several dutches went astray.  After analyses just think it was one of those days where I choose the wrong races maybe due to be distracted by the thought of going back to work.  6 days away from the office seems like an eternity to me.

Had a funny call from my mum last year.  She wanted to be sure I was involved in the betfair fraud.  She knows I use betfair and heard me mention Mr Fallon before therefore I must be guility.  Quite sweet really that she does actually have an understanding of what I am doing even if she does not really understand.  She is of the old school where she believes only the bookmakers win.  With the unsettled weather I think it is going to be a patience test for me with only a few bets in the next week or so until the weather settles again.
