It is raining which is bad for 2 reasons: 1 I get wet and 2 affects chances of having any bets today. To make matters worse Clare has had a minor accident with her car. She is fine but beating herself up. The house move is still in the balance which is not a nice feeling but I am sure it will be o.k. and I am really looking forward to being back in a house again. Although will miss the flat.

A mixed day for. Got up late at 8am and then spent most of the day packing for my imminent move before settling down to the football. Had a 10/1 winner in the first at Pontefract which was pleasing but ultimately I went against Alfie Flifts. I did not have a good feeling but the system told me that this was a race to be involved. So after a brief return to winning days today was ultimately a losing day. I also laid 0-0 and 1-0 in the football at half time again a loser. To cement my damage I laid Middlesex against Kent knowing how Middlesex have struggled and that I was confident there weak bowling attack would ultimately let them down. They scaped home by 9 runs thanks to a big hundred by Owais Shah. Some days are not meant to be. I have all my results updated and have a day at work to restire my energy.
Tuesday bring the electrical and boiler survey and hopefully exchange. Friday will hopefully be moving day. It will be nice if I can settle down to football on Saturday back in my old house. This will be another chapter beginning.

Well as I said I was allowed a day of trading today. Set myself a target of £100. Beat that easily and have decided to take the rest of the day off and enjoy the Argetina game.

In the style of nicewon. £166 in 3hours 30 minutes. Not bad for an afternoon sobering up after Royal Ascot.

Royal Ascot was excellent will give more details later or tomorrow. A busy sports day ahead with 6 race meetings I am interested in, a one day international, 2 world cup games. I have been allowed to postpone the packing until tomorrow so this a bonus day of trading and investing today but I won’t get carried away I promise.

I am getting really excited and slightly nervous about today’s proceding. The only problem I have with days like these is how to get bets on at other courses. You tend to get ripped off at the track so unless betfair odds are inline with the best odds available including the commission part then you have to a hit. I will have access to betfair mobile (mobex) but that’s it. All part of the game. Today is about the spectactle and not so much the racing or profit but after 3 losing days I like to have a winning day. Especially as it is unlikely I get a chance to trade today either and won’t get much chance at the weekend either as I will be packing.

Another losing day for me thanks mainly to a jockey who I found out 5 minutes before the race was 3 pounds overweight and lost by a neck. That’s makes it five lose races out five. Slowly giving June profits back really need some winners some to restore confidence.
I am going to be at Royal Ascot tomorrow. I have one tip tomorrow Gallient in 4.55. 7/2 or better. Should win assuming nothing out of the ordinary happens.
As for the house move well things are back on track. I have book the movers etc. Fingers crossed that nothing come up on the electrical survey on Tuesday.
Enjoyed the Brazil game and scalped some more profit.

The house move is in the balance. My buyer wants an electrical and boiler survey done which may or may not have in the next 2 days. It is needs to happen in this timeframe as the Abbey require 5 days to request the money so this would leave just enough time for the deal to go through next Friday. Clare and I have signed all the necessary papers so we are ready to exchange so only need our buyer to come into line.
Had four losses on the horses yesterday knew it was going to happen sooner or latter but it is still frustrating when it does. Hopefully I it will be back to winning ways for the rest of the month.

England gave us another scare last night. I made a few quid on the game as I thought there would be goals and I was sure England would score at least 1. The 0-0 was 6.2 at the off far too short in my opinion and the 1-0 to Sweden was only 10s. I laid both results. I also traded on the over 2.5 goals market. I traded out though after Sweden hit the cross bar for the third time. Was get far too drunk at this point. Small loss on the horses today but all part of the game.
No movement on the house but hopefully seeing solicitors today to get a better understanding of the situation.

It is look nearly certain now that I won’t be moving on 30th June. Solicitiors all 3 of them are taking against even to post letters. My buyer still has not sorted his mortgage out even though I was told he had. In addition after having a flat buyer’s survey done he now want’s an electrical survey done. It is extremely frustrating I was hoping I was near the end of this stressful period. I have a feeling only a gut one that my buyer will pull out and I will have to find another but let hope not.
On the racing front made a small profit yesterday. The real profit bets came 2rd and 3rd so maybe signs that the winning run is about to level off a little but lets wait and see. The weather is due to improve later in the week and that should help the results again.
Really looking forward to the England game tonight. Come on England.
