Beware Fellow Gamblers Egg has closed ranks on us
01/04/2006 by ramps.
Received an email from ladbrokes this morning confirming that Egg from today will charge you for depositing using an Egg credit card. Got a lovely amount of cash back from them I knew it would not last for long. Have spent the morning updating all my bookmakers account with a new credit card. I have got to go through all my partners ones latter. The reason I have to set of account is because every single bookmakers has liability limits on my betting. I effectively double these by using my partners accounts.
Note only Fontwell has survived the weather today so will be another quiet day. Have the aintree festival to look forward too. Central heating still working which is cool. Might get do so work on the racing database this afternoon which will be useful.
IMPORTANT - CHANGES TO CREDIT CARD CHARGES
As a credit card customer, you should be aware of forthcoming changes to the way some credit card companies charge for online betting transactions.
These changes are being introduced by the following card issuers:
Already in place: MBNA, Halifax
From 1st April: Egg
From 1st May: Mint, Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest
