Congratulations to Reading for making to the Premiership. Will make watching more Premiership football locally a reality. Lets hope its not just a one hit wonder though. :) I reckon they would be a good team to sponsor next year nudge nudge.

After having big night last night I treated myself to a copy of both the racing post and the sportsman to see which one I thought was the best. Both are good reads and both have lots of valuable information but neither has that edge for me so I would be buying more than the occasional one. Maybe I am different but I don’t think they understand what people want in this daily sports magazines anymore. I also think that the bookmakers are influing a lot of what is said and more importantly what is not said. I can not back this up with any concrete evidence so please take as you my humble opinion and nothing more.
Second day of the flat season brings us Redcar and the lincoln. I won’t be betting but if I had a free bet I would back capable guest at 28/1 each way to 5 places. The best value for me is in the 3.50 where obe gold at 20/1 looks a good thing. I won’t be betting though as I have little soft ground form at Redcar to judge confidence on.
The system found a few more winners in the last copule of days so the ground conditions are settling down. Have a lot of confidence with the top rated horses at Bangor but the prices are very restrcitive so will watch the market. Edmo Yewkay could be a lay and also Ready to Rumble.
Newbury looks tricky although Presenting Express is a good thing but 3/1 is too small.

I had the privilage being part of an excellent lemonade club last night. I truly believe that everybody enjoyed themselves to the max which was great. Off course it will be many months before we know if this night will go into the legend category or just been remembered as a good night. The test of time will be how many months years after this night is still talked about.
I am glad I am cheat and eat before I went and ate half way through the night, added to the vitamin C pills I took I managed to survive with a relatively mild hang over which is cool. I have been added to do my work for todays racing with a fairly clear head. Just hope everybody got home safe last night as some people were definitely in the red zone for awhile.
Looking forward to bringing the tradition to working soon
