I have found these statistics extremely useful in keeping me honest at Cheltenham.

This time next week I will be filled with mixed emotions as one day of the festival will have past and there will only be 3 left. I will filled with adrenalin which will numb any potential hangover I will have. The discpline factor required to making money in the sport of kings gets thoroughly tested at Cheltenham. It is so easy to get carried away especially as the prices are generally tasty due to the competiveness of the events.
You have to balance the spectacle versus real opportunites which are always there. There is no doubt Cheltenham festival has made many a bookmaker run for cover. Some horses rise to the occasion time after time and bash the bookies. Best Mate and Moscow Flyer spring to mind.
It was supposed to be a wind down week for me at work and so far this week I have put in more hours than last week. I need to manage my time better or learn to say no I guess. Wish me luck.
I will make sure all my cheltenham thoughts are put on the blog and also the main web site. Remember there are still tickets available so buy them and join the experience of a lifetime. Looking forward to seeing you all there
Only Catterick to entertain me today and my system on National Hunt does not do to good here with a strike ratio of 25%. Likely to save my powder for any day.
