The thing about racing is you have to take a view.  My view today was that Bougoure had a great chance in the 2.50 at Market Rasen and that Viciana would win the novice chase.   To my delight after McCoy win earlier in the day the punters can in their masses to back French Enjoy, down to 9/4.   At this price I consider this a lay and due collected.    In similar fashion Lizzie Bathwick was well backed into 3/1 from 9/2.   Another value lay.

Some you win and some you lose the price and your view is the important things.   Both horses were much hugher prices until nearly post time and were not lays at 9/2 imho.

Sometimes your view is wrong like at the weekend when I laid crow wood at 5.3 and it hacked up.

Today racing looks particularly unattractive from an investment point of view.   Although I do fancy the 9/2 on Copper Bay in the first but no worthy of an investment.   Checking thorugh the card now to see if there are any lays.
