£125m rolls into Friday’s draw in
this European lottery whose rules state that if the rollover is not won by the
following week - Friday 10th February, it cannot rollover again and must be paid
to whoever is closest to the Jackpot.
To win you must choose any 5 numbers
from 50 along with 2 more ‘Lucky Star Numbers’ from 1 to 9. The odds against
doing this are more than 72 million to one. The odds against selecting 5 correct
numbers plus 1 Lucky Star number are just under 5.5 million to
one.
If the jackpot is not won by a 5 + 2
entry it’s highly likely it will be won by a 5 + 1 in which case the odds,
although still enormous, are much more appealing.
A brian coplin investments member guru@briancoplin.co.uk
has suggested trying to raise money towards a permatation bet. If this is something
you’d be interested in joining please email:
amount you’d put into the syndicate. If there proves to be sufficient interest
we’ll put a syndicate together under the following
conditions:
All stakes need to be paid by no later than
noon on Thursday 9th February.
brian coplin investments would act
only as facilitators as there is obviously no skill involved and the brian
coplin investments team would simply choose random
numbers.
You’d need to accept that paying
your money into the syndicate does not guarantee that the perm would be placed.
We would, of course, do all we could to place the perm but we would not be held
responsible if, for example, through some mechanical or technical breakdown the
bank could not give us the cash we need, the lottery terminal failed, the queues
to place bets were so long that we did not reach the terminal in time etc
etc.
All of this might prove futile if
the jackpot is won on Friday 3rd February. But if we have an idea of interest
levels by noon on Friday 3rd, we would have sufficient time to put the syndicate
together.
So, please email before noon on Satruday if you’re interested. And pass the message on. £125 million will spread
well across a lot of people on a propriate basis to how many ticket they bought.

My trade on Cerium and Hors La Loi III worked out nicely. My double lay of Munadil and Twist N Turn worked well too. Then things went wrong as Ellway Prospect won, laid at 4.2. I got most of that back by laying KittenKat and Misty Future. Only for Elfkirk to let me down. Followed by the gamble of the day Nykel.
A small loss on the day but has been a while since I had a strong day. Still waiting for February cash back from sporting odds as well. That would help put me in a good mood.
Catterick is already off. Fontwell looks interesting with an old favourite of ours Borehill Joker running in the last.

The Wincanton card looks interesting. I have done a little arbing with Nykel back at 7.0 with sporting odds and laying at 6.2. Think has a very good chance although the preference is boddidley who is a litle short. Hoping there will be some resistance to this one but unlikely.
I fancy Cerium to beat feel the pride but maybe the old boy hors la loi iii should be considered as a saver.
Turning the attention to Towcester which is a more more competive affair if only in the number of runners. Defintive laying possiblities here in the handicaps. Will be cautious as we had a couple of lays win of late so care will be taken but I can see as many as 4 lays today.
