Another profit lay for me
Great ride from Richard Johnson aboard top weight Billyvoddan means that the odds on lay has to settle for second. £240 quid profit nice.

Well done and good luck, but laying an even money shot that gets beats a length does not sound like professional investing to me. If McCoy had given it a better ride it might have won. If you are going to suceed at gambling you need some sort of rational strategy. Forgive me for being rude, but I cannot see one here. Please feel free to reply. No offence intended.

The reason as stating in an earlier post that I dictated that this was a lay was as follows:-
1) I had BillyVoddan and Keepthedreamalive rated above above Reveillez.
2) On my rating system I had reveillex down as 3rd fav at a value price of 7/2.
Even adding the McCoy factor which often works in the layers favour as his favourite tend to get well backed. I deemed this a sensible option.
Hopefully if you follow for the next few months you will see that my strategy work out very well. Not every horse I lay will lose but I will make money.

Rating are done using both Brimardon and Towerform whilst I fine tune my own ratings system which should be there for the start of next year’s national hunt season.
