Sporting Odds what a great bookmaker

Not only do they give me 4% cash back on all my bets but they have invited me to Cheltenham for a hospitiality day.  Excellent great stuff and thanks very much Nicola.

Monday blue’s

A loss today.  We lost 20 points on the betting side and only made 4.8 points back with that successful lay.   Tomorrow’s racing looks unlikely so it looks as like we may have to wait until the weekend to win our money back.

Seconditus returns

Another second in the last investment race.  Sickening as beaten by the complete outside.  Onwards and upwards.

2.00 Wetherby

Unfortunately we found one too good in this with Dickie Lewis always travelling well looked like he had the race but just wasn’t good enough to catch twotiminggent.  Let’s hope our second investment race lands us with a winner.

Lay stuffed

The lay didn’t quite get the support I though it would.   I took 2.72 and was happy to see it get well stuffed.   Our second rated won at a tidy 13/2 but no money on it.

Lets hope the bets do as well.

Bets for Monday 23rd January

In the end I sided with the following thinking they represented the best value.

2.00 Wetherby £250 win Kings Square 6/1 with sporting odds.   £250 win Dickie Lewis 5/2 BOG with Bet365.
3.05 Wetherby £250 win Karenthaena 7/1 with various. Restricted.  £250 win Imtihan 5/1 blue square.

Took a bit of time to get the money on as most bookmakers were restricting me to £50 here and £50 there.

Monday 23rd Lay

Gone through the cards at Ayr and Wetherby and the only lay I like the look of is Corrib Lad.   Currently trading at 2.64.  Likely to be a lot of support.   I would suggest waiting and seeing if you can lay around 2.38 mark but anything less than 3.0 is value.

1.40 Ayr 5pts lay Corrib Lad

Monday’s Racing

There are 2 jumps meetings today.  Ayr looks very difficult so unlikely to be playing there.  Wetherby looks very interesting despite the small fields.   Very interested in the 2 handicap hurdles.   Kings Square and Dickie Lewis look good in the first.  In the second I am looking at Karathaena and Imthian.

Will very much depend on the prices as usual.  I let you know what I decide.   The account is doing very well atm so I would not want to mess it up but being too hasty.
